You are just at war. War with your ambition, your ego, your notion of perseverence and winning. And your inablity to accept graceful, sensible defeat. It isn’t in our nature to do that, although it is not a defeat, because there was no game to play in the first place. Meaning – I wasn’t too weak or just didn’t have strenght to fight for it, it’s just not in the game, game does not recognize merit, courage or beauty. In the end, it cheats all of those things. So why would I feel humiliated by the game rigged in such an awful way?
